SM Shivakumar joined Bharat Forge Ltd., Pune as Vice President in Dec 2015 and assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer of Analogic Controls India Ltd (ACIL) on 01 May 2022. He is a veteran with over two decades of rich experience in leadership positions with Indian Navy. He pioneered the successful induction of an advanced weapon system in Navy during his deputation with DRDO. He has been collaborating with major defence OEMs from India and abroad for over 20 years now. As a techno-commercial management professional, Shivakumar has achieved great successes in furthering organisational goals.
As a distinguished graduate of the National Defence Academy, Shivakumar earned bachelor’s degrees in science. He also holds a First class Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Our Skill Set And Core Area
The engineers are B.Tech / M.Tech (ECE) qualified, experienced in developing embedded hardware and software based products for defense and industrial applications.
The team is also experienced in preparation of extensive documentation (Design document, Quality Assurance Plan, Acceptance Test Plan, User manual, Maintenance & Technical manual etc).
The core area is 8/16/32 bit processor/controller based system design and EPLD/CPLD/FPGA based product design.
